Wolfers Frères SA gilt sterling King Boudewijn I bowl

Wolfers Frères S.A. (Brussels), a rare presentation bowl, silver gilt on a small onyx base, presented as a gift by King Boudewijn I and engraved with his royal cypher, probably made at the end of the 1950's or 1960's, diameter top: 15,5 cm, total height 8,5 cm. Marked 925/1000 (Sterling) and with makers mark and retail mark by Wolfers. The original gilding rubbed in places as usual.
