Bernard Cappaert Pair of silver candlesticks 1809-1814

Bernard Cappaert (active in Gent between 1805-1841), a pair of silver candlesticks, made in Gent between 1809 and 1814, both marked on the side of the rim, height 30,5 cm, diameter base 12 cm. In reasonable but used condition with the to be expected traces of wear and small dents, one candlestick showing a small opening where the baluster is soldered where the plate is joined, one candlestick showing an old restoration to the upper part (see photographs).
