Nicolaes Berghem? (old attribution by an unknown hand), the knife sharpener (de scharensliep), washed ink drawing on paper. Dimension of the sheet 20,7 x 20,2 cm. Signed with monogram on the bottom left in ink by another hand. On the back of the sheet another washed ink drawing (sketch) is present, with a view of a small lake, a house and a windmill. Front drawing executed with more precision. Left bottom corner has folds, on the right edge of the sheet there is a small dark stain visible (0,5cm). Unframed, 17th century or later.
