Vereinigte Silberwarenfabriken Düsseldorf, an interesting silver art deco cutlery set for 12 persons, in a very decorative retailers box, the model designed in the 1930's, this set probably sold in the 1940's, in used but good and unpolished condition. One starters knife with broken blade (hence not included in the count). The set comprising 12 starter forks (18 cm), 12 starter spoons (18 cm) and 11 starter knives (21 cm), 12 large forks (21 cm), 12 large knives (25,5 cm), 12 large spoons (21 cm), 12 coffee spoons (11,2 cm), all pieces marked with alloy mark for 800/1000, most pieces also marked with makers mark and German State mark, some of the large forks and spoons with overstruck (retailers?) mark "M" or "S?". In total 83 pieces.
