(Brussels), a large circular 45 cm diameter gilded silver center piece mirror or 'surtout de table', made with the purpose of reflecting light, thus catching attention and mirroring the exquisite pieces carried by it, such as chandeleers, jardinières, centerpieces, coffee and tea sets, vases, coupes, samovars, etc. Marked with the Wolfers Frères maker's mark and 925/1000 for Sterling on the silver rim and with the original retailer's label on the neatly finished wooden base by Leon Leyns, jeweller and silversmith in Ghent.
