Gerard Baksteen (1887 - 1976) 'Tien houtsneden naar de berechtinge (the Trial) van Guido Gezelle', 1930. Portofolio consisting of ten woodcuts on Japanese paper. Each woodcut is signed by the artist and numbered '1B - 10B' below the image in pencil. Dimension of the sheets 29,5 x 41,5 cm, dimension of the woodcuts 17 x 21,5 cm. On the opening page there is a dedication written by Baksteen in ink to Father Joh. B. Nieuwenhuyzen. Introduction by Dr. Louis Lebeer. The portofolio shows foxing, as usual, but no further damage. Cover with name of 'Gerard Baksteen' present. Additional letter in Dutch, about this edition, stating that of the 'B' series only 5 copies were printed
