Marie Gallois-Durant (Bordeaux, 19th century), portrait of cardinal Donnet, archbishop of Bordeaux, 1856, oil on porcelain, signed and dated bottom right, with inscription 'd'apres C. de Balthazar', Plaque dimensions: 24,5 x 16 cm. A rare work of very good quality by this female painter who was active at Sevres between 1858-1870. In a 19th century frame. Possibly the work shown at the Salon in 1857 under number 878.
