A probably unique silver samovar designed by Philippe Wolfers
Philippe Wolfers for Louis Wolfers, père et fils II, Brussels, a very important museum quality silver samovar, designed ca. 1886-1890, most probably executed between 1893 and 1895, total height 45 cm (with upright handle), width approx. 25,5 cm, height ewer 31,5 cm, dimensions base 15 x 20,5 cm, height burner 9 cm (lenght with handle 16 cm), gross weight approx. 3900 gr. Both the base and the ewer marked with makers mark, alloy mark for 800/1000, German state mark and retailers mark of Foehr in Stuttgart. This published piece comes with ample documentation and is probably unique.
